***When I first started out in practice I was so excited to share the benefits of moxa with my patients, but even though I was able to burn moxa in the clinic where I worked, some patients were sensitive to the smoke due to asthma or other conditions. I wanted to find a way to get the healing power of mugwort into all who could benefit from it. At first I had found a great local source of a moxa-infused oil it but the small company went through changes and supplies were limited so I decided to make my own. I also wanted to add other herbs and find the perfect oil blend to assist the herbal infusion in penetrating into the tissues as well as having the right balance of grip and glide for use in cupping. Eventually colleagues started asking me if they could buy some from me so my batches grew in size :) I use mostly organic ingredients and use dark glass bottles for quality and preservation of the oil.
